The Challenge

Farrer & Co were moving from SafeLink and sharing workspaces externally in NetDocuments to HighQ. There were around 80 PAs who required mandatory training and 300 Fee Earners whose training was optional. Intapp Flow was used to create collaboration spaces within HighQ.

iTrain implemented a strategic approach to address Farrer & Co’s challenge:

Consultation

The project commenced with an in-depth consultation phase, allowing iTrain to understand Farrer & Co’s organisational complexities, user reactions to change, the old system, and intended HighQ configurations. Close collaboration with various Farrer & Co teams, including IT project delivery and training, provided the essential groundwork for project development.

Support Materials

Farrer & Co purchased a bespoke resource pack from iTrain, including Quick Reference Guides and How-To videos. These resources were tailored to Farrer & Co’s business processes and HighQ system customisations, providing crucial support for users adapting to the new system.

End-User Training

A role-specific training program was designed and delivered to Farrer & Co users using MS Teams for online flexibility. The training period involved one iTrain trainer delivering the sessions.

The Results

The partnership between Farrer & Co and iTrain produced positive results, leading to a smooth transition to HighQ. iTrain’s support resources and expertise were instrumental in helping Farrer & Co users acclimate to the new system, reducing disruptions and sustaining productivity throughout and beyond the transition.
